At hedges and Stumps, as the name suggests, we offer hedge trimming but we also offer all other hedge related services from a light trim to complete removal.
Professional Hedge Trimming & Maintenance
Hedge trimming is an art and one we take exceptional pride in. If your hedge is attended to by an untrained individual and the work carried out incorrectly, it can have a negative effect on the hedge itself as well as the overall appearance of your property.
After years of maintenance trimming alone, hedges can become very tall and start to starve the garden, flower beds or vegetable patches of sunlight, become top heavy, grow amongst and interfere with other trees / species of hedgerow or inhibit natural light from rooms within your home. When this is the case we can reduce the height of the hedge to a more acceptable level or another reason this can be carried out, would be to regain a level top line.
Insurance & Training
All staff are fully insured, trained and experienced to carry out all hedging related tasks and will clear up after themselves and remove all waste.
Shrubs & Small Trees
As well as hedging, we also have the ability to take care of all your shrubs and small tree works.
Whether it is a one off visit, regular upkeep or a complete removal, call on us to take care of your hedges.
If a full removal is required due to being replaced with fencing or due to disease or excessive deteriation, we can remove the hedge row, take care of the stumps and prep the ground to make life easier for the next tradesman by breaking up the existing root system.
